msct 60th anniversary trial
9 crews took on the trial, including two from Hobart, which started from the Tailrace Centre in Riverside. A crisp day but clear sunny skies allowed teams to enjoy 150km of driving through the West Tamar valley region on both tarmac and smooth gravel roads. A run through Bridgenorth, over the hills to Holwell, before a coastal run through Beauty Point, a challenging town section in Beaconsfield before running through Kayena and Flowery Gully before finishing at the Rosevears Hotel for a relaxed lunch.
Thanks to Mitch Newton (setup), Matt von Bertouch (sweep) and Terry Bracken (checker) for their assistance in making the event happen, and to the 500 Car Club for lending their navigation boards
