Round one of the 2020 MSCT Khanacross Series is calendared for the 16th February at Powranna.
A Khanacross is a competition conducted on unsealed surfaces, bitumen or a combination of both and involving a series of timed tests of various layouts. Each test is designed to test the acceleration, braking and general manoeuvrability of the vehicle and the skill and judgement of the driver. The object of the competition is for each driver to complete all the tests of the program in the prescribed manner, in the shortest possible time, without incurring penalties.
Khanacross is a Competitive Non-Speed Event endorsed by MotorSport Australia (CAMS).
A motorkhana is a timed course to test driver’s acceleration, braking and maneuverability on various layouts marked out using appropriate flags/cones. The MSCT conducts its motorkhanas on the concrete pad at Symmons Plains Raceway. For more information see here; https://www.msct.com.au/moto
