Motorsport Club of Tasmania at the Australian Khanacross Championship – Day 1 Recap!

Six of our club members are proudly flying the Tasmanian flag this weekend in Bendigo at the Australian Khanacross Championship! Day 1 saw 10 tarmac tests completed, and the team put in a strong showing against a top national field.

Here’s how they sit heading into the gravel stages tomorrow:

• Craig Hardstaff – Leading the charge, 6th outright and 2nd in class

• Tony Howe – 10th outright, 3rd in class

• Lyndon Kettle – A WD and NFG to recover from, currently 16th outright, 4th in class

• Jo Woolley – Leading the Ladies class, 31st outright, 8th in class

• Makkai Kettle – 32nd outright, 4th Junior, 9th in class after a penalty for NFG

• Chris Leonard – 44th outright, 11th in class

Tomorrow the team take on the gravel tests, where anything can happen — and the Tassie crew will be giving it everything! Good luck to all competitors — let’s go MSCT!
